You will be kept informed throughout the process to ensure the quality and continuity of care for your patients. Services for Patients International Services offers patients and their family members a range of services designed to ease their concerns, set the proper expectations and make their stay more comfortable. By providing language assistance, local concierge services, cost estimates and other helpful services, International Services is able to reduce anxieties associated with stays in a foreign hospital. When patients arrive they should request an International Patient Guide, a valuable reference guide on what to expect upon arrival in San Antonio. An International Patient Relations Specialist is available for any special needs that may arise during their stay. Continuing Medical Education MHS offers international physicians the opportunity to stay abreast of the latest development in the fields of medicine, nursing and public health. International Services is your resource to help you find the courses that interest you. If you would like to receive a schedule of courses, please add your name to our mailing list. Medical Exchange Program International Services can assist visiting medical practitioners who wish to apply for an observership experience in their particular specialty.
