Many of our patients come from outside San Antonio, so the Texas Transplant Institute staff is available to help patients and families manage the needs related to being away from home.  Many of the procedures can be done on an outpatient basis, so families can be together during the transplant process.  Specialists are available around-the-clock to answer any questions that may arise.
