In January 2011, Methodist Healthcare leaders officially announced the successful completion of the system’s purchase of Texsan Heart Hospital and its new name Methodist Texsan Hospital, a campus of Methodist Hospital. When Texsan first opened in 2004, we built a reputation for outstanding cardiac care services from emergency care to cardiac catheterization to open heart surgery.

We are now working to expand our services beyond excellent heart care by building our weight loss surgery program, emergency services for health matters and a new orthopedic program called the Joint Replacement Academy. Academy staff works with physicians, patients and their loved ones before hip or knee replacement surgery and throughout the inpatient rehabilitation process.

We have a beautiful hospital campus that is centrally located and staffed by people who genuinely care about providing each patient with a healing and comfortable hospital experience. At Methodist Texsan Hospital we are proud to share the Methodist Healthcare mission of Serving Humanity to Honor God.
