Bakthavathsalam S. Athreya, MD

Dr. Athreya received his medical degree from Madras University, India, and completed his residency at Coimbator Medical College and St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York.  Continuing his medical training, Dr. Athreya then completed his fellowship at Lutheran Medical Center, Cleveland, OH, and later achieved board certification.  He remains an active member of the American College of Cardilogy, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of International Physicians, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association and American Heart Association.
