Minas T. Chrysopoulo, MD

Dr. Minas Chrysopoulo has been practicing medicine since 1996. He is a graduate of the University of London where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Advanced Anatomy and Morphology. Dr. Chrysopoulo continued his training in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio prior to undertaking a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He completed additional fellowships in burn surgery and research at Shriner’s Burn Hospital for Children in Galveston, and hand surgery/microsurgery at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis. As part of his dedication to the medical profession, Dr. Chrysopoulo has held special appointments on the National Board of Medical Examiners and as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Wisconsin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division. Dr. Chrysopoulo is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery and the San Antonio International Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Chrysopoulo's other specialties include: Breast reconstruction after mastectomy and lumpectomy for breast cancer and Cosmetic surgery.
