Greg A Seiler

Chief Executive Officer, Methodist Hospital Metropolitan

Greg Seiler joined Methodist Hospital Metropolitan as Chief Executive Officer in 2012, with more than 25 years of hospital administration experience.

Prior to joining Metropolitan Hospital, he served as the CEO of Rio Grande Hospital in McAllen, Texas. He also served as the COO of Riverside Community Hospital, where he oversaw a $20 million expansion of the hospital’s emergency department and the debut of the Heart Care Institute.

Since taking the helm of Metropolitan Hospital, Seiler has directed several high-profile projects—including the completion of a $50 million capital campaign that resulted in a new ICU tower and the beginning of the intensive care program for the facility’s critically ill patients.

Under his leadership, Metropolitan Hospital’s Cardiology division was designated as a Center of Excellence by the Academy of Cardiology—having become an accredited center in the areas of Chest Pain, Catheter Lab and Heart Failure. The hospital was named a Top General Hospital by the Leapfrog Group for 2019 marking seven consecutive years that the facility has received this honor.

Suraj Maraj, MD

Chief Medical Officer, Methodist Hospital Metropolitan

Suraj Maraj, MD, joined Methodist Hospital Metropolitan as Chief Medical Officer in 2022 after serving at Methodist Hospital | Texsan since 2018.

Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare, Dr. Maraj worked as a Physician Advisor with Accretive Health and as a clinical cardiologist with the VA System from 2011 to 2017.

Dr. Maraj is a graduate of Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and holds a medical degree in internal medicine. He completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He has also completed his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute. Dr. Maraj is board certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiac nuclear imaging, echocardiography, and internal medicine.

Ashley Holmstrom

Chief Nursing Officer, Methodist Hospital Metropolitan

Holmstrom joined Methodist Hospital Metropolitan as chief nursing officer in 2024.

Prior to joining Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, Ashley served as chief nursing officer at Abrazo West and Abrazo Buckeye Emergency Center, a 224-bed Level I regional trauma center in Goodyear, AZ. Prior to her role there, Ashley served as the chief nursing officer of Medical City Frisco in Frisco, Texas.

During her time at Abrazo West and Abrazo Buckeye Emergency Center, Ashley significantly reduced nursing turnover by creating initiatives to target retention and improve communication with nursing staff. She developed shared governance structures to increase nursing engagement in all aspects of decision-making and patient care. Additionally, she created programs utilizing high-reliability tactics that lead to reduced infections and improvements with nursing care bundle compliance.

Ashley has a history of leading and driving positive change in organizations on various scales. She has mentored and precepted masters and doctorate prepared leaders in nursing and believes in developing and investing in people. Ashley is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Maricopa County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program.

Ashley received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Baylor University, a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Walden University. She also holds board-certifications with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Executive and Professional Development Lead.

Allie Breckenridge

Chief Operating Officer, Methodist Hospital Metropolitan

Allie Breckenridge, FACHE joined Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2023 with over a decade of healthcare leadership experience. Allie most recently joined after serving as COO at HCA's Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas and prior to that served as the Vice President at Medical City Children's Hospital. During her time at Sunrise Children's Hospital, Allie provided oversight for strategic service lines and the hospital's operations. She was instrumental in leading the hospital through the highest volume respiratory winter surge in the history of the hospital, expanding the infrastructure of the congenital heart program, and drove improvements in the safety and security of the facility.

Breckenridge holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management and a Master of Health Care Administration.

Known for her exceptional leadership, commitment, and tremendous support for staff, Breckenridge 's expertise allows her to ensure all hospital operations align with Methodist Healthcare's core values.

Charles Braun Jr.

Chief Financial Officer, Methodist Hospital Metropolitan

Charles Braun joined Methodist Hospital Metropolitan as Chief Financial Officer in 2008, with nearly 30 years of experience on the financial side of the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Metropolitan Hospital, Braun was the Shared Service Controller for Metropolitan Hospital and Methodist Hospital Northeast, where he oversaw multimillion-dollar expansion projects by both facilities. The capital campaigns resulted in huge gains for the two hospitals, which saw its combined net revenues grow from $100 million to $273 million annually.

As the Chief Financial Officer for Metropolitan Hospital, he has served as a key leader during a time of significant growth for the facility—which now boasts a brand-new ICU tower and accommodations by numerous healthcare professional and advocacy groups.
