What is the Lumen Award?

The Lumen Award is a recognition program specifically for recognizing exceptional radiology professionals.

Nominations are reviewed and collectively judged by a Radiology Service Line Panel to ensure excellence is celebrated consistently and fairly throughout our system.

Nominees must exemplify Methodist Healthcare’s I CARE values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. They must also excel in quality and safety, patient experience, and demonstrate a culture of professionalism.

Radiology professionals bring clarity where things are hidden, much like the moonflower which blooms in the night. The Lumen Award recognizes the often-unseen yet vital contributions of radiology professionals who serve patients and providers with excellence, professionalism, and compassion.
