Kidney transplants
Recognized as one of the country's top programs, our kidney transplant program is one of the premier living kidney donor programs in the nation. Once we receive a referral for your kidney transplant, we will schedule an appointment for you to meet with our team. We will perform a health evaluation and determine any tests you need to complete before your kidney transplant surgery. Then we will discuss the available donor options.
Liver transplants
Whether you need liver transplant surgery or liver failure management, our transplant surgeons are here to offer you the highest level of care. Though we always aim to implement other treatment options first, you may benefit from liver transplant surgery if you've developed liver failure due to:
- Alcohol or drug abuse
- Hepatitis B virus
- Hepatitis C virus
- Liver cancer
- Primary biliary cirrhosis
- Sclerosing cholangitis
At our Liver Disease and Transplant Clinic, we provide comprehensive treatment options and educational resources. Our clinic also provides numerous treatment options, including chemoembolization and radiofrequency ablation.
Pancreas transplants
Our transplant surgeons perform both pancreas and kidney-pancreas transplant surgeries. If you're living with Type 1 diabetes, you may qualify for a pancreas transplant. The transplant process begins with a referral from your physician. After receiving the referral, we schedule an initial appointment. If you're a suitable candidate, you will be placed on our waiting list.
