Sleep disorders
Sleep disorders refer to changes in sleep patterns that can affect the amount, timing and quality of sleep you receive. They can also be related to mental health issues. Common sleep disorders include insomnia, sleep apnea and narcolepsy.
Sleep disorders we treat
Our center has a fully functional sleep lab, where we primarily diagnose and treat the following conditions:
- Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS)
- Insomnia
- Narcolepsy
- Obstructive sleep apnea
- Periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD)
- Restless leg syndrome (RLS)
Sleep medicine services we provide
Using the latest medical technology, our sleep specialists design and evaluate individualized treatment plans to ensure you receive the best care possible.
Sleep studies available at our center
Our board-certified registered polysomnographic technologists (RPSGTs) conduct a variety of tests and studies. Some common tests include an overnight polysomnography — which may or may not include continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) studies — and a daytime multiple sleep latency test (MSLT).
If you are concerned that you or your loved one may have a sleep disorder, ask your primary care physician to refer you to our center.
