Methodist Hospital Westover Hills opens new cardiovascular imaging center

The opening of this center has expanded access to lifesaving cardiovascular care in West San Antonio and beyond.

San Antonio, Texas — Methodist Hospital Westover Hills unveiled a new cardiovascular imaging center, marking a significant step in its mission to expand healthcare services across San Antonio.

Hospital representatives noted the substantial growth on the city's west side and emphasized the importance of providing quality care to residents in the area.

The facility is equipped to diagnose and treat heart disease, offering services such as cardiac PET/CT, electrocardiograms, nuclear cardiology imaging, and various stress and echocardiography tests.

Dr. Shawn Ragbir, a cardiologist at the hospital, highlighted the importance of quick and efficient testing, stating, "Knowing your numbers and if you have symptoms that need to be checked, getting those checked in a very quick and efficient manner can get to answers quickly."
