Fredericksburg, Texas — Methodist Hospital Hill Country recently celebrated the completion of renovations to its Radiology and Fluoroscopy (R/F) room with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Hospital leaders, staff, and community members gathered for the event to recognize the completion of the project and the continued progress of Methodist Hospital Hill Country. The renovation brings updated technology to the hospital and strengthens access to advanced imaging services for patients in the Hill Country.
The renovation includes installation of a modern, fully digital radiology and fluoroscopy system designed to support high patient volumes, advanced procedures and streamlined workflow. The new platform will allow the hospital to better meet the growing needs of the community.

The system features a large field-of-view detector and advanced image processing capabilities that produce clear, detailed images to assist physicians in making accurate diagnoses. It also offers capabilities such as tomosynthesis and digital subtraction, which enhance visualization during certain fluoroscopy procedures. The equipment includes low‑dose optimization technology to help reduce radiation exposure while maintaining strong image quality.
The upgraded R/F room supports a wide range of services, including high-volume outpatient imaging, gastrointestinal (GI) studies, urology, pain management procedures, and other advanced fluoroscopy needs. The investment reflects the hospital’s long-term focus on growth, operational efficiency, and expanding clinical capabilities to serve the region.
