First anniversary in the Bulverde community celebrated by Methodist ER Bulverde

San Antonio, Texas — Methodist ER Bulverde is proud to celebrate its first anniversary, having provided emergency care to more than 7,100 patients since opening its doors on September 1, 2024. The facility has seen a remarkable 167% increase in daily patient volume, growing from 12 patients on opening day to 32 patients exactly one year later — an indicator of the community’s growing trust in its 24/7 emergency services.

Staffed by board-certified emergency and trauma physicians, registered nurses, and highly trained medical professionals, Methodist ER Bulverde has become a vital healthcare resource for the region. The center’s commitment to accessible care is reflected in its treatment of 2,655 insured patients who were previously ineligible due to Medicaid, Medicare, or Tricare restrictions.

Located at 20475 TX-46 #100 in Spring Branch, the facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, including a 16-slice CT scanner, x-ray suite, ultrasound, and full-service laboratory and radiology capabilities. Since opening, Methodist ER Bulverde has maintained a patient experience rating above 97%, consistently ranking among the top two facilities in all of HCA.
