San Antonio, TX — Methodist Hospital Westover Hills has announced the appointment of Whitney Babb, MSN, RN, as Chief Nursing Officer.
Babb brings more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience across HCA Healthcare. Most recently, she served as Chief Nursing Officer at Methodist Hospital Landmark, where she led strategic growth initiatives, clinical quality improvements, and workforce engagement efforts.
Previously, Babb served as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, where she provided leadership for nursing operations and clinical excellence efforts. She also held leadership positions at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Virginia and within HCA Healthcare’s corporate clinical operations team, where she supported enterprise-wide patient placement initiatives and operational standardization across more than 180 hospitals.
Babb earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.

As Chief Nursing Officer, Babb will oversee nursing operations and work closely with clinical teams to advance quality and patient-centered care.
Babb will assume her new role on June 29.
