James V. Chang, MD

Dr. Chang was born in Mississippi and lived in both Iowa and Texas. He majored in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, and attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Galveston. He then moved to Arizona where he completed his Pediatrics residency at the Phoenix Children's/Maricopa Medical Center. Afterwards, he completed his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital with The University of Tennessee Health Science Cen

My philosophy is to approach each patient and their family with respect and transparency. I am committed to helping them fully understand their congenital heart defects and the impact these conditions have on their lives. While my primary focus is on addressing heart-related issues, I remain attentive to the overall well-being of the individual the heart sustains.
