Magda Elizabeth Mora Garzon, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, she is certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and is a diplomate of the American Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Care Philosophy
Dr. Mora Garzon became interested in medicine at a young age. “From childhood, the idea of becoming a doctor was ingrained in me. Personal and family medical encounters sparked my fascination with the ability of one person to heal others,” she says.

\nShe chose to specialize in cardiology because of the heart’s vital role and intricate function within small cardiac structures and the vascular system. The field is dynamic, continuously advancing in the tools and technologies cardiologists can use to study the heart and treat disease. “In cardiology, I have the opportunity to make a significant impact, whether stabilizing patients in acute, critical situations or diagnosing, treating, and more importantly, preventing and reducing the risk for life-threatening conditions in outpatient settings. Contributing to individuals’ well-being in such a fundamental way is truly gratifying,” she explains.
