Cordero received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of Texas at Austin, and then completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is licensed as a Physician Assistant by the state of Texas Medical Board and is certified by the National Commission Certification of Physician Assista

“A large portion of my job is caring for surgical patients,” says PA Cordero. “My role encompasses the patient’s journey from scheduling surgery, to assisting in surgery, and providing care post operatively,” says PA Cordero. “I work hard to maintain a strong relationship with a patient throughout their care by guiding them through the healing process. For me to have a role in improving their quality of life is rewarding."
