From teen years through menopause, we are with you at every stage.
Our certified nurse-midwives work collaboratively with our Obstetricians/gynecologists (OB-GYNs) and maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists to provide comprehensive gynecology, pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum services. We are united in our approach to safely care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies through collaborative, high quality care.
Pregnancy conditions treated
Our Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) deliver at Methodist Hospital, a Level IV Maternal Care facility with a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). With approximately 5,000 births each year, Methodist offers the highest level of care for both you and your baby, ensuring access to advanced services should they ever be needed.
In addition to providing comprehensive prenatal care for healthy pregnancies, our collaborative team of Certified Nurse-Midwives and OB-GYN physicians is experienced in the diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancy conditions including:
- Gestational Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Preeclampsia
- Maternal cardiac and medical complications during pregnancy
- Multiple gestation pregnancies
- Placental abnormalities and obstetric hemorrhage
- Premature rupture of membranes
- Preterm labor
- Many other high risk and emergent pregnancy conditions
