This Hospital Week, Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is proud to spotlight Memo Alaniz, an outstanding equipment coordinator on the hospital's supply chain team. For the past two years, Memo has played a vital role in keeping the hospital running smoothly, ensuring equipment is in the right place at the right time, coordinating repairs and replacements, and supporting every service line with the tools they need to provide excellent care.

While the work of the supply chain team often happens behind the scenes, it's the backbone of hospital operations. Memo's attention to detail, reliability, and dedication does not go unnoticed by his team or by the many departments he supports daily. Whether it's prepping equipment for a new patient or jumping in to troubleshoot on short notice, Memo is always known for showing up with a solution and a positive attitude.

"When patients recognize me in public, they introduce me to their families by saying 'he helped take great care of me,' those small moments make me especially proud of my work," said Memo, reflecting on his experiences at the hospital.

Not only does he serve the staff and patients of this hospital within his equipment management responsibility, he goes above and beyond to prioritize patient care by partnering with clinicians to remove barriers to providing exceptional care," stated Colby Turton, Director of Supply Chain Operations.
