San Antonio, Texas — Methodist Hospital Westover Hills has announced the appointment of Luke Nakamoto as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Nakamoto brings nearly a decade of healthcare finance leadership to the role, with a strong background in financial operations, strategic planning, and organizational growth.
Most recently, he served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, where he played a key role in strengthening financial performance, leading financial planning and budgeting efforts, and advancing operational initiatives. Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare, Nakamoto served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Saint Thomas Rutherford in Tennessee and at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and Surgical Hospital.
Nakamoto earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University.

As Chief Financial Officer, Nakamoto will oversee the hospital’s financial operations and help advance strategic initiatives that support high-quality patient care and long-term organizational growth.
Nakamoto will assume his new role July 6.
